As I was searching the internet today for all things Olivia Newton-John, I stumbled across an article, FINDING ROMANCE THROUGH RHYME: AN UNFORGETTABLE DATE NIGHT AT AN OLIVIA NEWTON-JOHN TRIBUTE. As I was reading the article, I realized that it was written by an audience member who attended one of our shows! It was such a nicely written story about her experience attending The Olivia Show as a way to enjoy a romantic date night with her husband.
To quote the author, Sara, "Whether your first love or first heartbreak was soundtracked by Olivia Newton-John, her music serves as a poignant reminder of those formative years." Such a beautiful line describing Olivia's music. It was a time when music and lyrics meant something and made you feel emotions such as love, heartbreak, happiness, etc. instead of just providing a beat with repeated lyrics as today's music has unfortunately done. There was a story line in Olivia's music and it made us all feel real emotions.
It made me feel really special that she enjoyed the experience so much as a date night show option. I’m so honored to have made it in her blog, Budget Savvy Diva, and I’m so thankful that she took the time to write this story about The Olivia Show and how she truly enjoyed our tribute to Olivia Newton-John.
